In it's April 2015 issue, movie magazine Empire has an exclusive feature on SPECTRE - which also includes a couple of previously unseen photographs.
The first photo shows David Bautista in action as Mr Hinx. The second shows Lea Seydoux discussing a scene with Director Sam Mendes. The accompanying article in Empire explains that although the set the photo is taken on appears to be Dr. Madeleine Swann's office at the Hoffler Klinik in Austria, it is actually a highly realistic set on one of the soundstages at Pinewood Studios, in England.
I wonder if the mountainous backdrop of the photo featuring Mendes and Seydoux is the same one pictured in the photo of "Q Stage" that was posted on the Official 007 Facebook page on 22 January 2015?
From Sölden to Q Stage.
Below are the two new photographs accompanied by quotes taken from the Empire article.
"When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions. I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, 'Yes, he's a badass.' I said, 'Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?' He said, 'Very.' That's what I like about Mr. Hinx. He's very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I'm not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humour. He definitely knows what a metaphor is."
"I don't consider myself a Bond girl. I think I'm not really the stereotyped Bond girl. I feel quite different. You can't be like, 'Oh, James.' You have to find something else. She's not a fighter, she's a doctor," she adds. "She fights in another way."
Empire Magazine issue April 2015 is available from all good newsagents now - priced at £3.99. I look forward to having a good read of it with a cup of tea before the children get back from school.
