Now that my daughter has turned 6 and I've found out who killed Lucy Beale, lefts catch up with what's been happening since the SPECTRE crew arrived in Rome. a long and winding roadPrior to the crew arriving all news concerning the SPECTRE shoot in Rome was quite negative. The car chase planned to be filmed there had been prevented from filming in certain historic parts of the city. There were reports of the city being filthy and conversed in graffiti and that it would need to be cleaned up before filming could commence. And then to top it all off Monks stopped filming at the largest cemetery in Rome as they thought that the filming would be disrespectful to the 5000+ corpses burred there.
But all is not lost. So the car chase couldn't be filmed in certain parts of the city well I believe it's being filmed in different parts of the city and I'm sure it'll still be a thrilling and exciting entry into the cannon of car chases that we have seen from Bond in the past 23 films. Rome being dirty and covered graffiti? Well I'm sure that Sam Mendes will not allow any parts of Rome to go before the camera lens of Hoyte Van Hoytema that doesn't help to visually tell the SPECTRE story and I'm sure that the city will be shown to be a beautiful cosmopolitan city that is steeped in history - a combination of the modern and ancient. And as for the Cemetery not being used. As you can see from the photo's below an alternative was found. The Museum of Roman Civilisation has been transformed into a magnificent Roman Cemetery ready for filming for some funeral scenes. Here's some photo's: CLICK ON THE LARGE PICTURE BELOW TO START THE SLIDESHOW: SPORTS CAR SPOTTEDA photo of the Aston Martin DB10 in Rome has surfaced online. As you can see from the photo the engine is being checked over. And let's hope Bond doesn't need to put his jetpack in the boot as the DB10 doesn't seem to have a lot of boot space. And over at James Bond Brazil they found a picture showing how the cars are being kept undercover during filming to stop them being spied on: who's funeral is it?Below are some photo's of the funeral featuring Daniel Craig and Monica Bellucci being filmed. Looking at the photo's I would guess that Monica's character Lucia Sciarra is the widow or at lest the love interest or mother of the deceased as she appears to be the main mourner at the funeral, wearing a black veil and looking most sombre as she stands next to the coffin.
