When the literary 007's boss chooses to dine at his club Blades it looks like the onscreen M might choose to dine at one of London's oldest restaurants. Ralph Finnes, Naomi Harris and Ben Wishaw have all been spotted filming scenes for SPECTRE at Rules Restaurant in the Covent Garden area of London. You can see photo's of them arriving at the location on the excellent Bond Lifestyle website (click HERE to see their report). Rules was established by Thomas Rule in 1798 making it the oldest restaurant in London. It serves traditional British food, specialising in classic game cookery, oysters, pies and puddings. I can't help but wonder if the use of this location is part of an old versus new element to the story of SPECTRE like we saw in Skyfall? As you'll see from the below the restaurant did not want to let people know that they were closed due to the filming of the latest 007 adventure: It would appear from the below photo's of them setting up that the exterior of the restaurant will also be featuring in the film as lighting rigs were set up outside the building:
